Amplifying Global South Voices at ACUNS 2026: The Role of the Global South Perspectives Network

The Global South Perspectives Network (GSPN) will participate in the 39th Annual Meeting of the Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS), taking place from 1–3 July 2026 at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal. The meeting, themed “Multilateralism under Challenge and the Future of the Pact”, comes at a critical moment for global governance, UN reform, and international cooperation.

GSPN’s participation reflects its growing role as a platform for Global South–led analysis, policy dialogue, and epistemic contribution to debates on multilateralism and the future of the United Nations system.
